If you really need to use your car, it is possible to buy a day pass and under certain conditions, an exemption may be granted. To purchase a day pass or request an exemption you must first register the vehicle. Registration is free of charge and is processed automatically. Registration must be completed before driving in the Low Emission Zone of the Brussels Region.
