If your vehicle is affected by the LEZ, you may want to give up the use of your personal car and change the way you travel. But where do you start if you are not familiar with the alternative mobility offers offered in Brussels? Take part in the Mobility Visit for free!
Mobility Visits are discovery tours around mobility, which aim to help people understand the evolution of transport offers and to enable them to test the new local mobility services in Brussels in a practical way.
How do Mobility Visits work?
In two and a half hours, you will discover and test all the means of transport that exist around you as part of a small group and in a practical way. Accompanied by a real specialist, you will first be introduced to current mobility trends.
You will then have the opportunity to get to the heart of the matter by testing electric scooters and bicycles (if you wish to do so), as well as shared services if they are available in the neighbourhood. Also discover the complementarity of the S network trains with STIB transportation, as well as the flexibility of car sharing, taxi services, or the various accompanying solutions for persons with reduced mobility. Finally, you'll learn how to juggle these different services with specialized navigation applications.
Do you still have specific questions about the different ways to get around Brussels? Our experts are at your disposal to answer your questions throughout the course.
Mobility Visits are completely free of charge and take place several times a month from different locations in the Brussels Region: From Brouckère, Bockstael, Gare de l'Ouest, Flagey or Meiser. The 2.5 hour sessions take place at lunchtime, in the evening or during the weekend and can be in French and Dutch. As far as clothing is concerned, no specific equipment is required but comfortable and waterproof clothing and shoes are nevertheless recommended.Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the list of the next Mobility Visit sessions is yet to be determined.
