In order to have access to the legal base of the implementation of the Low Emission Zone in the Brussels-Capital Region, you will find below :
- The ordinance dated December 7th, 2017 which modifies the ordinance dated May 2nd, 2013 on the Code bruxellois de l’Air, du Climat et le la Maîtrise de l’Energie (a.k.a « CoBRACE) enabling the effective implementation of one or several low emission zone on the Brussels Region territory (published in the Moniteur belge on December 14th, 2017)
- The order dated January 25, 2018, of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region regarding the establishment of a low emission zone (published in the Moniteur belge on December Februari 2nd, 2018).
- The order dated September 27th, 2018 which modifies the order of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region dated January 25th, 2018 regarding the establishment of a low emission zone.
- Judgment rendered on 23 January 2019 by the Tribunal de l’entreprise francophone de Bruxelles concerning the publication of false information relating to the Brussels LEZ by Green-Zones GmbH.
The introduction of the LEZ is a project which requires the cooperation of various government departments and actors, specifically: Brussels Environment, Brussels Mobility, Brussels Regional Informatics Centre (BRIC), Brussels Prevention and Security and Fiscality Brussels.
