With reservation of the approval of the texts by the Brussels’ legislator, the fine amounts to €350. It is the same for every offence.
However, no new fine is payable until three months have elapsed following the preceding one. This allows you to take the necessary steps towards changing your vehicle (allowed in the LEZ) or to change travel habits For example: if a fine is issued on 15 October 2018, the next fine may only be issued after 15 January 2019.
Hence, a maximum of four fines a year per vehicle are possible.
Checks will be carried out on vehicle number plates, using cameras.
